The State of California has established the designation to honor communities for their dedication to cleanliness and environmental stewardship. A benefit of completing the designation process is recognition as a KCB affiliate and inclusion in the growing network creating and maintaining clean, green, and vibrant communities statewide.

Designation Completion Report

This form serves as the Clean California Community Designation completion report. To achieve the designation, your community must complete 10 of the 15 criteria (see list below).

You may use the form to track each completed criterion and save your progress until you have met 10 criteria in full and are ready to submit the form. Alternatively, you simply may complete the form after you have met the minimum of 10 criteria in full. For each criterion, you are asked to provide a short (300 word maximum) summary of the actions your community has taken to meet that criterion and upload a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 5 supporting documents (e.g., document, report, photo).
