Adoption is a great way to help Keep California Beautiful.

 

Adopting an area is a proven and effective way to address persistent dumping and littering and helps keep these areas trash-free. All it takes is a concerned person or group of volunteers and a commitment to be part of the solution in keeping California clean.

 

Adopt-A-Highway

 

The Caltrans Adopt-A-Highway Program, which began in 1989 provides an avenue for individuals, organizations, or businesses to help maintain sections of roadside within California’s State Highway System.

 

Adopt-A-Beach^®

 

The California Coastal Commission has created The Adopt-A-Beach^® program in an effort to help keep Californias coast line litter free and allow volunteers to foster feelings of pride and ownership as they begin to care for “their” beach.
